Mathematics Challenge

The following terms & conditions apply to the CWN Mathematics Challenge®:

1. Parents should prepare their child for the challenge well in advance. Past exam papers and mark schemes can be downloaded from our website. These materials are copyrighted.

2. All applicants are expected to attend the exam on time. We will not allow any late comers.

3. All parents should prove the identity of their child by providing a valid photo ID before entry into the examination.

4. We strongly advise parents to ensure that their candidates are available on the examination day. CWN will not issue refunds to applicants who are unable to attend the examination.

5. CWN reserves the right to deny the entry or continuation of an applicant at any stage without refund.

6. Applicant should bring sharpened pencils, ruler, and eraser. Calculators are permitted for only Year 10 and Year 11 candidates.

7. Parents of any applicant will not be allowed inside the examination hall during the examination time.

8. We will not accept any kind of cheating at any stage. When any misconduct found the candidate will be disqualified.

9. Parents are responsible to collect their child immediately after the exam.

10. Parents should inform us by e-mail immediately if they change their phone number or email address.

11. We will endeavour to send examination results to your email address by 31st August. This is subject to availability of our independent examination markers.

12. Parents should check the spam, junk, and similar folders regularly, as our e-mails may fall into it. CWN will not be responsible for any loss of communications.

13. CWN’s decision on exam results is final. Exam papers will not be returned but can be viewed during our feedback sessions.

14. Candidates need to attempt the examination paper to receive feedback.

15. Parents can collect their candidate’s certificate and/or trophy only at our feedback sessions. Feedback sessions are usually conducted between September to December and only at certain locations. CWN will inform parents of the location by e-mail.

16. CWN will update these terms and conditions as necessary from time to time. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we made.

17. CWN respects and values your privacy, as per our Privacy Policy.


We may revise these terms of use at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you. Some of the provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site.
