Latest announcement

We are pleased to announce we are now accepting applications for CWN Mathematics Challenge 2018. To apply please visit the Mathematics Challenge section of this website.

CWN Mathematics Challenge®

We provide a Mathematics Challenge every year to improve children's ability in Mathematics and encourage them to succeed.

The exam papers are written and marked by experienced Mathematics teachers who have been teaching for over 40 years.

The structure of the exam papers will be the same as that of previous years. Each paper will consist of 25 questions worth 50 marks, and have a time limit of 45 minutes.

All participating children will receive certificates for encouragement, and children who achieve A and A* grades will receive awards too.

Mathematics Challenge 2018

Our examination will be on Saturday 28th April 2018 at various locations across the United Kingdom, as listed below.

Once finalised we will be informing all parents of their children's examination venue and timetable by email over the next few weeks.

As our emails are sometimes wrongly filtered out by email providers we advise parents to check their Junk / Spam folders regularly.
